The area of land formerly known as Camp Rolling Hills and then Camp New Horizons was the scene of two grizzly massacres committed by Angela Baker. Afterwards, the property was taken over by the federal government.

Location and LayoutEdit

The land is approximately sixty miles away from Camp Arawak and Camp Manabe in upstate New York. There is a large lake with docks for fishing or boating. There is an expansive wooded area with pathways and a clearing where a cabin once stood.

The main camp area consists of several cabins of varying size. The largest holds a kitchen and seating area for the entire camp. There is also a small stage present and a public phone. There are several smaller cabins that contain three rooms: the main room for campers, a bathroom, and a private room for a counselor. The camp owner had his own cabin that contained his office.

Near the mess hall is a fenced in swimming pool and flagpole.

BackgroundEdit

The land fell into the ownership of Uncle John, a Southern gentleman who ran Camp Rolling Hills there. He bragged that he had the best kids in the entire state attending his summer camp for several years. According to head counselor TC, Charlie and Emilio have been going there for years.

FilmsEdit

Sleepaway Camp II: Unhappy CampersEdit

Sleepaway Camp III: Teenage WastelandEdit

Sleepaway Camp IV: The SurvivorEdit

Following the second murder spree and decaying conditions of the campground, the area was seized by the federal government and forest ranger Jack patrolled the land.

TriviaEdit

Although taking place in New York, Unhappy Campers and Teenage Wasteland were filmed in Georgia, while The Survivor was shot in New Jersey.

Michael A. Simpson's planned sequel, Berserk, would also take place in this wooded area.
